Eleanor Carter: illustrations and prints.

Eleanor lives, illustrates and makes prints by the sea in St Leonards, the ‘artists quarter’ of Hastings and the South Coast, where she draws inspiration from the sea to one side and the wonderful Sussex countryside to the other.

Eleanor’s illustrations are bold and distinctive, drawing on the patterns, colours and textures that her surroundings afford her.

I use a variety of print methods, paint and mixed media; whatever the work demands, whatever the idea needs for creation.

Along side commissioned work Eleanor produces limited edition prints, hand made greeting cards, and is currently working on some new woodcuts based on Hastings Old Town.
